Why on earth were Kunzle Cakes taken out of production? They were a very special addition to a cup of tea (or coffee) in tea shops. I have referred to them often in nostalgic reminiscenses with friends and family. If there is any justice they will be brought back again before I become too old to appreciate them or before the nanny state bans such delights completely.I spent a week in Camber Sands in Sussex in the late sixties and every afternoon I drove to a little cafe in Winchelsea to have my fix of afternoon tea and cake. Kunzle of course. Ah, memories

because kunzle cakes were something very very special and should be brought back by anyone wanting to make money.
Also, the French Jam sandwich was the best and most tasty ever made

I have never stopped searching the shops for Kunzle cakes ,hoping they would suddenly reappear on the shelves. My Aunt(long since gone) used to bring a packet with her sometimes when she popped in for a cup of tea , I drool at the thought.
They seemed expensive then ,but I would willingly pay the price for them now ,there is nothing to compare them to now.
